Divakar Permalla has been working in the tech industry for over 20 years. Divakar started their career at i2 Technologies as a Delivery Manager. Divakar then moved to Trigo Technologies, where they were a Project Manager and Technical Architect. In 2005, they joined IBM as a Solution Leader for Data and AI. Divakar has been with Uptycs since May 2020 and is currently the VP of Customer Experience.

Divakar Permalla has completed an MBA from Columbia Business School and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Divakar also holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Mangalore University. In addition, they have certifications from Coursera in Machine Learning and from IBM in Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner and Data First Method.
