Aaron Gregory has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Aaron is currently the Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Upwardli, a credit onramp company aimed at helping those 'new' to credit in the U.S. Prior to this, Aaron was a Charter Member at TechGC starting from 2019.

From 2015 to 2021, Aaron served as the General Counsel & Executive Team member at Remitly, where they played a crucial role in leading legal, compliance, and risk product organizations. Aaron was recognized as Seattle's 2016 In-House Innovator of the Year and was responsible for the largest private financings in the Pacific Northwest in 2018 and 2020.

Before joining Remitly, Aaron held the position of Vice President - Law and Public Policy at SmartSenseCom from 2013 to 2015. Aaron contributed to the development of advanced sensing applications in acoustic detection and electric power grid monitoring.

From 2010 to 2013, Aaron worked as a Managing Associate at Dentons, specializing in areas related to federal regulation, marketing, technology, telecommunications, financial services, and consumer products. Aaron represented clients in various investigations, M&A transactions, and rulemaking proceedings.

Aaron began their legal career as an Associate at Kelley Drye & Warren in 2010 and also served as a Summer Associate at the same firm in 2008. Aaron gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk at the U.S. Senate's Judiciary Committee in 2007 and at Arnold & Porter in 2006.

Throughout their career, Aaron has showcased expertise in delivering financial products in complex regulatory environments and has demonstrated leadership abilities in their roles.

Aaron Gregory has a strong educational background. Aaron attended Amherst College from 2001 to 2005, where they focused on political science. Later, from 2005 to 2009, Aaron attended The George Washington University Law School, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The George Washington University School of Business. Additionally, Aaron has a certification called MU2 from NMLS, although the month and year of obtaining it are unknown.
