Alexander Kurr

Alexander Kurr has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Alexander currently holds the role of Head of Design at Upwind Security since September 2022. Previously, they worked at Quantum Metric, where they started as a Graphic Designer and progressed to Senior Art Director, Art Director, and finally Lead Designer from August 2020 to June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Illustrator at Datadog from September 2018 to August 2020. Alexander also has experience as a Graphic Designer at MogoSME from March 2015 to September 2018, where they built brands from scratch and handled various design responsibilities. Additionally, they co-founded The New Fuel, a company specializing in motion graphics and promotional materials, where they served as a Partner and Lead Designer from January 2013 to September 2018. Alexander started their career as a Graphic Designer at Kent State University TeleProductions from July 2012 to May 2014, where they collaborated on sports-related projects and produced graphics for various university affiliates.

Alexander Kurr holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University.
