Amiram Shachar

Amiram Shachar has extensive experience in the technology industry, with a focus on cloud optimization and system administration. Amiram is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Upwind Security since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President and General Manager of Spot by NetApp from July 2020 to August 2022. Before joining NetApp, Amiram was the Founder and CEO of Spot.io from June 2015 to July 2020, where they specialized in cloud spend analytics and recommendations, as well as optimizing AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud deployments. Amiram also held the role of Director of Development Operations (DevOps) at Ybrant Digital from December 2012 to December 2014, where they led a team in building and maintaining large scale cloud architectures. Amiram began their career as a Team Leader for Linux Kernel at Mamram from March 2008 to December 2012.

Amiram Shachar earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies between 2011 and 2014.
