Before joining Upwind, Joshua served as the VP of Product & Strategy for VMware’s multi-billion-dollar Product & Cloud Services business and spent nearly a decade at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a General Manager in EC2. At AWS, he led initiatives including Spot, AutoScaling, Savings Plans, and Outposts, and sponsored successful acquisitions such as ClusterK, Thinkbox, and Nimble Collective, significantly boosting the growth of the cloud computing industry. Additionally, he held product and technology executive roles at several startups, where he honed his skills in innovation and rapid growth.

Joshua began his career as one of Amazon's first 100 employees, working as a software engineer during the company's early days. He is also a prolific inventor with over 20 patents and a sought-after speaker on innovation, DevOps, and cloud computing.
