Anthony Kappus

As Upwork’s Chief Operating Officer, Anthony Kappus leads a team spanning legal, information security, payments & trust, customer support, and communications.

Prior to joining Upwork, he spent more than a decade at Redfin, where he led digital revenue—Redfin’s fastest-growing and most profitable business segment—along with corporate development and legal. Previously, Anthony was an attorney with DLA Piper.

Anthony holds a law degree with high honors from the University of Washington School of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in business from the University of Calgary.
