Arslan Waqar

Arslan Waqar is an experienced software engineer and engineering manager with a solid background in frontend development. Currently serving as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Upwork since October 2023, Arslan leads a team of over 10 engineers to develop an advanced fleet management dashboard using Angular 8+, RxJS, and Ruby on Rails. Previously, from February 2018 to September 2023, Arslan held positions as Engineering Manager and Engineering Lead at Motive. With a foundation in senior software engineering at Careaxiom from October 2016 to January 2018, Arslan contributed to enhancing interactions for senior citizens through AngularJS and ReactJS. Earlier experience as a Full Stack Developer at PLUMgrid Inc. involved creating a real-time monitoring tool for cloud infrastructure. Arslan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Communication Systems from the National University of Sciences and Technology, earned from 2009 to 2013.
