Katie Smith is a research consultant currently assisting clients with a variety of research-related tasks through Upwork. Prior to this role, Katie founded and directed Open Access Debate, a non-profit dedicated to enhancing the accessibility of evidence for high school debaters and the public. Katie also gained experience as an intern with the U.S. House of Representatives' Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, and worked as a freelance journalist covering social movements in New York City.
