Angie Ablard

Angie Ablard (Simpson) is an experienced professional in sales and channel development, currently serving as the Director of Channel Development at ur.co.uk since March 2024, where Angie leads strategic initiatives in the refurbished handsets sector. Prior to this role, Angie held the position of Head of Sales - SMB Direct at Virgin Media O2 from January 2020 to November 2023, overseeing customer satisfaction and sales performance for small and medium business clients. With a robust background in sales leadership spanning various companies, including Daisy Group as Operational Sales Director and plan.com as Head of Sales - Indirect Partners, Angie has developed extensive expertise in partnership management and sales strategies. Angie’s career began in sales management at Hugh Symons Communications and has included numerous leadership roles across significant organizations in the telecommunications and energy sectors. Angie holds a degree in Business Studies from Lowestoft College.
