David Souders

David Souders is the current Chief Financial Officer at URAC. David has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry.

David started their career as an auditor at RSM McGladrey in 1991. David then transitioned into corporate finance and became the controller at Vastera in 1997. From 2004 to 2009, they were the CFO at BOWA Builders, Inc.

In 2009, David took on a role as the Director of Finance/Corporate Controller at Gate Gourmet, Inc. The following year, they became the outsourced CFO at BDO USA, LLP. David held this position until 2014 when they were recruited by URAC to become their new CFO.

Under David’s leadership, URAC has seen significant financial growth and stability. David has played a vital role in URAC’s success and is respected by their peers for their knowledge and expertise in the field.

David Souders completed a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business and an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Hood College. David also holds certifications from CGMA and CPA in MD, VA.

They work with Robin Adams - VP, Strategy & Product Development, Houeida Saad - General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Privacy Officer, and Daniel Spirn - VP, Government Relations. David Souders reports to Shawn Griffin, President & CEO.
