Michele Johnson

Michele Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government relations and public policy, currently serving as a Senior Benefits Analyst at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management since March 2016. With a long-standing tenure as Director of Government Relations and Public Policy at URAC since 2010, Michele has successfully led campaigns to secure federal recognition for unique accreditation programs related to the Affordable Care Act. Prior roles include Vice President of Government Affairs at the American Health Quality Association, where notable lobbying efforts were made, and earlier positions at the Medical Group Management Association, AAFP, and as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives. Michele holds a Master's degree in Organizational Development from American University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Arizona State University.
