Launched in 2011, Urban Factory produces films by talented directors from all around the world, without restriction of genre nor budget. 

Urban Factory presented in May 2023 IF ONLY I COULD HIBERNATE at Cannes Festival 2023, Official Selection, Un Certain Regard, the first feature film of Zoljargal Purevdash, a coproduction between France and Mongolia (Amygdala). 

Urban Factory presented in 2022 PLAN 75 at Cannes Festival 2022, Official Selection, Un Certain Regard (Camera d’Or Special Mention), the first feature film of Chie Hayakawa, a coproduction between France, Japan (Loaded Films) and the Philippines (Fusee).    

We also completed in 2022 the post-production of 2 feature documentaries: Francescca I l’amor, a Spanish-French coproduction directed by Alba Sotorra, and Il nous reste la colère, directed by Jamila Jendari and Nicolas Beirnaert. We also started the production of Les enfants du large, Virginia Tangvald first feature documentary, coproduced with Canada (micro_scope). We just finished the shooting of The shameless, by Konstantin Bojanov, a Swiss-French-Bulgarian coproduction, which has been shot in Nepal in February-March 2023. We also coproduce Sima’s song by Roya Sadat, a coproduction between Spain (Alba Sotorra) and The Netherlands (Baldr Films). Besides, we have several fictions, documentaries and animations in development, such as My Traitor, written by Santiago Amigorena and Marion Quantin, adapted from the novels My Traitor and Return to Killybegs by Sorj Chalandon, Dream of Grape Garden by Sahra Mani, Let us not be strangers by Julien Trauman. 

Our previous releases also include a French-Brazilian coproduction Good Manners, directed by Juliana Rojas and Marco Dutra, a French-Argentine coproduction La Luz incidente by Ariel Rotter, and The benefit of the doubt by Samuel Tilman.
