Urban Forest Tribe CIC exists to address a challenge: many children in London, particularly those with neurodiversity or SEND, grow up with limited access to meaningful green space and nature-based learning opportunities.

This lack of access can have real consequences, as time in nature supports emotional regulation, attention, and resilience in ways that indoor learning environments often cannot. Urban Forest Tribe provides a hands-on solution to this need.

We deliver various session types, including urban forest school sessions, holiday camps, and funded SEND programmes across North London, working closely with children, families, schools, and home educators. Our approach is learner-led and trauma-informed, with a strong focus on making nature connection accessible to all children, including those who may be marginalised from traditional education.

Alongside this, we partner with schools and organisations to re-nature playgrounds, designing and delivering long-term green infrastructure that brings nature into school life permanently. We provide the vision and project management, schools provide the space, and corporate partners supply the resources and investment to make it happen.
