Janet Colvin

Janet Colvin has over 30 years of experience in education, beginning as a classroom teacher at Pierce Elementary School from 1986 to 2004, where they served as a lead teacher and learning team coordinator. They transitioned to roles at Milwaukee Public Schools, supporting first-year teachers, before becoming a principal at Goodland Elementary from 2015 to 2020, where they focused on professional learning communities and school transformation. Currently, Janet serves as a principal at the Urban Learning Collaborative, while simultaneously pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership at Cardinal Stritch University.
