Forum was established as a specialist real estate investment firm in 2002 with the express objective of investing in, and alongside, real estate operating companies in worldwide.  This complementary combination allows flexibility with our clients to perform as a third party service provider with co-investment capabilities.  With our in-depth experience across all market sizes, Urban Retail is poised to identify, underwrite, acquire, manage and increase the value of the retail properties for our clients retail properties as well as ours.
 
Urban has seven regional offices throughout the United States and has worked closely with more than 100 clients over the years, including pension funds, individual owners, insurance companies, special servicers, and institutional owners of mixed-use, retail and office asset classes. Urban currently manages 49 retail properties in 19 states, comprising of nearly 18 million square feet. 
Urban has developed a multitude of world-class shopping centers ranging from Water Tower Place, 900 North Michigan Shops in Chicago, Copley Place in Boston, to the redevelopment of the Houston Galleria and Old Orchard Center in Skokie, IL.
