Dan Casey

Dan Casey is a seasoned transportation planner with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Senior Transportation Planner at Urban Systems Ltd. since October 2018. Prior to this role, Dan worked at Watt Consulting Group for twelve years in a similar capacity. Dan specializes in collaborating with small- and mid-sized communities to develop and implement strategies that promote active and sustainable travel behaviors. Areas of expertise include pedestrian and bicycle planning, parking management, transportation demand management (TDM), transit planning, and downtown streetscape planning and urban design. Dan holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Victoria.
