Idris Mootee

Idris Mootee has a diverse range of work experience. In 2007, they co-founded Idea Couture Inc., a global innovation firm that works with Fortune 500 clients to create growth and economic value through customer insights and design thinking. Idris served as the Global CEO until 2018. In 2015, they became the Vice Chair of the Board of Governors at OCAD University and served until 2021. Idris also served as a Senior Fellow at Arts Incubation Labs from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, they have held advisory and investment roles at various companies, including Urbancoolab, Village Technologies, Creative Destruction Lab, Wondeur Ai, and KAOSPILOT. Alongside their work, they are a published author of five books and a keynote speaker in the field of design thinking and strategic innovation. Idris co-founded the Institute of Human Futures in 2016 and served as Chairman until 2018.

Idris Mootee has a Master's degree in Business from London Business School. Idris has also studied Law and Economics at the University of London. Additionally, they hold a Master's degree from Brunel University London. Idris has pursued further education in the field of SMM/SRM at Harvard Business School.
