Cha-Ly K. has over 10 years of work experience. Cha-Ly began their career in 2010 as a Project Manager at PEMANDU (Performance Mgmt and Delivery Unit, Prime Minister's Department). In 2013, they moved to Urban Matters Solutions as an Urban Planning Advisor. In 2015, they became the CEO of URBANMETRY.

Cha-Ly K. began their education in 2001 at Mahindra United World College India, where they completed an IB program. Cha-Ly then attended Middlebury College from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in both Theoretical and Mathematical Physics and Physics and Architecture. In 2007, they continued their education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they completed a Masters in City Planning with a focus on Urban Studies/Affairs in 2009.
