Andy Thomas

Andy Thomas is a seasoned professional in spatial analysis and geospatial sciences, currently serving as a Senior Spatial Analyst at Urbis since October 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Geospatial Specialist at Tonkin + Taylor, where Andy focused on GIS analysis for assessing the resilience of New Zealand's infrastructure against natural hazards, along with GIS modeling for integrated catchment management. Previous roles also include Senior GIS Specialist at Boffa Miskell Limited, Information Management Component Lead at Golder Associates, and GIS and Visualization Specialist at O2 Planning + Design. Andy holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from University College of Wales and a Master's degree in Geography from the University of Manitoba.
