Simon Ashford

Simon Ashford possesses extensive experience in animation, graphic design, and education, having held significant roles in various prestigious organizations. As the Head of Animation & VFX at Collarts from December 2018 to August 2022, Simon showcased leadership in animation education. Previous positions include serving as an Animation Assistant under Tiger West, an Assistant Animator at Richard Williams Studios with involvement in the notable project 'The Thief and the Cobbler,' and roles ranging from Senior Animator at Animation Works to Junior Animator with Universal Pictures on 'Balto.' Simon's academic contributions include positions as a Senior Graphic Design Lecturer at CATC Design School and Program Manager at Torrens University Australia. Additionally, Simon runs a graphic design business and is currently engaged with URBNSURF in multiple capacities since June 2022. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design & Animation from De Montfort University and coaching certifications from GALLUP.
