Yi Mo

Yi Mo has extensive experience in data science and data engineering. They currently hold the position of Chief Data Officer at Urgently since February 2021. Prior to this, Yi Mo worked at InMarket from 2017 to 2021, where they served as the Head of Data Science. They also held the same role at Thinknear by Telenav from 2017 to 2019, before the company was acquired by InMarket. Yi Mo's previous roles include Senior Data Scientist at Awesomeness from 2016 to 2017, Vice President of Business Intelligence and Data Science at Network of One from 2015 to 2016, and Data Scientist at Edmunds from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they served as Team Lead / Senior Data Engineer & Administrator at Tesco Bengaluru from 2007 to 2011, and as Team Lead / Senior Database Engineer / Data Architect at Hypermedia Systems from 2005 to 2007. Earlier in their career, Yi Mo co-founded Luna Medium, LLC and served as its CTO from 2000 to 2003. They also worked as a Technical Director at Magnet Interactive Group LLC from 1999 to 2001.

Yi Mo's education history includes completing a Self-Driving Car Engineer program and a Nanodegree in Deep Learning Foundation through Udacity. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction in Math and Economics from the University of Alberta. They later pursued a Master of Arts in Economics at the same university. Their education also includes a Certificate in Improving Business Finances and Operations from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
