Barry Hellman

Barry Hellman is an accomplished Principal Engineer specializing in hypersonics with nearly 20 years of experience in the Department of Defense and aerospace sectors. They have held crucial roles such as Chief Engineer at Lockheed Martin and Aerospace Engineer at the Air Force Research Laboratory, where they managed multifaceted engineering teams and complex projects. Currently, they serve as Principal Engineer at Ursa Major and an Adjunct Professor at Lehigh University while also having contributed to innovative projects at BLUE ORIGIN. Barry holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
