Jesse Blacker

Jesse Blacker has a diverse work experience in various roles. Jesse is currently working as the Director of Government Business Development at Ursa Major since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ExOne, where they held multiple positions, including Director of New Product & Business Development, Director of Technology - New Markets, Product Development Manager - Non-metallic Materials, and Sr. Program Manager. At ExOne, they were responsible for government contract strategy, commercial R&D, customer collaboration programs, and program management. Jesse successfully transitioned additively manufactured parts into prime contractor/DoD Weapon Systems. Before ExOne, they worked at Touchstone Research Laboratory as a Senior Program Manager, Program Manager, and Research Engineer, where they managed technical research programs for government and commercial customers, including the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Missile Defense Agency, NASA, and the Department of Energy. Jesse also developed carbon foams for various applications. At the beginning of their career, they worked as a Co-op Engineer at Touchstone Research Laboratory, where they characterized coal-based carbon foams and developed processes for carbon foam materials.

Jesse Blacker obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, where they attended from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn in May 2020.
