Will Roper

Will Roper is an accomplished leader and academic currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Istari since May 2022 and as a Distinguished Professor of the Practice at the Georgia Institute of Technology from March 2022. Roper holds an honorary position as Group Captain in the Royal Air Force since August 2021. Additionally, Roper contributes to various advisory roles, including membership on the Government Advisory Board for Insight Partners and the Executive Advisory Committee for the Georgia Tech Research Institute, both beginning in February 2022. Roper is also a board member for several companies, including Hermeus, Ursa Major Technologies, and Firehawk Aerospace. Roper earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics from the University of Oxford (2003-2008), a Master’s Degree in Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology (2001-2002), and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the same institution (1998-2001).
