Ursillo, Teitz & Ritch, Ltd. (UTR) was founded in 1996 as the successor firm to Frank J. Williams, Ltd.; Frank Williams left the practice of law to serve as a judge and, ultimately, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Rhode Island. Today, led by partners Mike Ursillo, Andy Teitz and Scott Ritch, the firm maintains its commitment to excellence in the law, serving clients throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

As a general practice firm -- with concentrations in municipal and governmental law, banking and finance, real estate and land use,  estate planning and business law -- we are known for successfully navigating the ins and outs of the most complex of deals, legal issues and disputes. When needed, we represent clients in litigation, often taking a preemptive problem-solving approach to contain costs and explore alternative to litigation.
