Derek Helmer

Derek Helmer is an experienced professional in the field of operations and innovation, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and previously as VP of Innovation and Technology at UrthPact since May 2012. Prior to this, Derek held various positions at Innovative Mold Solutions from March 2004 to April 2012, including VP of Business Development and VP of Program Management. Derek's earlier roles included Director of Engineering at Fast Heat from May 2002 to February 2004 and Team Leader of Product Development at Husky Injection Molding Systems from March 1994 to April 2002. Derek holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Durham College, which was completed between 1989 and 1991.
