Joe Kochan

Joe Kochan is the CEO and Executive Director of the National Spectrum Consortium, a position held since 2022. They have over a decade of experience in telecom and technology, including roles as a consultant at Widelity, Inc., and as a Strategic Planning Specialist at Verizon Avenue, where they managed the deployment of the first Verizon FiOS network. Joe co-founded and served as Vice President of Operations for DigitalBridge Communications, creating one of the largest private WiMAX operators in the U.S. They also co-founded US Ignite, successfully launching the organization to promote smart city applications and raising substantial funding from major industry partners. Joe earned a BSE in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University in 2002.
