Alan Cox

Alan Cox, MD, AAPM, CMD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine and an Attending Physician at Ballad Health. With a career spanning multiple roles, Alan has served as a Medical Director at Amedisys and Life Care Centers of America. Alan has also engaged in coaching track and field at ETSU, demonstrating a commitment to both education and athletics. A Naval Officer since 1993, Alan has a strong background in military operations. Alan earned a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and holds a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University.
