Alvin Plexico

Alvin Plexico, Ph.D., is the National Director of Media Outreach at the U.S. Navy, where they share Sailors' stories to enhance public understanding of the Navy's mission. Currently, they serve as a Senior Professor at Park University, teaching courses in communication, media, and public speaking, and as an Adjunct Professor at Purdue University for graduate-level communication courses. Alvin earned a Ph.D. in Business (Organizational Leadership) from Northcentral University, an MA in Communication from the University of Oklahoma, and a BBA in Management from Texas Tech University. Additionally, they are an active member of the Public Relations Society of America and are involved with the Memphis Dream Center, focusing on community outreach and leadership development.
