Andrew Baker

Andrew Baker serves as the Chief Airworthiness Engineer for NAVAIR's UAS & Targets division, following a distinguished career at Naval Air Systems Command where significant leadership in F-35 flight clearance and airworthiness assessments was demonstrated. Prior experience includes roles as NATOPS Program Engineer, Senior Program Engineer, and a Senior Flight Test Engineer at NAVAIR, complemented by a tenure as Aircrew on E-3B/C AWACS with the U.S. Air Force and as Chief Master Sergeant in the DC Air National Guard. Baker holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland and completed Helicopter Flight Test training at the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School.
