Ashley Belyea

Judge Advocate General (JAG)

Ashley Belyea is a Judge Advocate General (JAG) at the US Navy, where they have served since 2014. Previously, Ashley held various roles, including a lead research assistant at MIT Lincoln Labs and The Fletcher School, focusing on global technology regulation in 2011, and an intern with the UNHCR in Sarajevo, where they worked on refugee concerns. Ashley also gained experience as a teaching fellow at Fettes College and completed internships with the Department of Defense and the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. Ashley earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2014 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Russian & East European Studies from the University of Virginia, with ongoing studies for a Master of Arts in International Relations at Tufts University's Fletcher School.
