Brian Abbott

Brian Abbott is an innovative professional with over two decades of experience in aviation safety management and military operations. Currently serving as the Commanding Officer of the Fleet Readiness Center Reserve Detachment in North Island, CA, they previously held the title of NAVAIR Safety Director and Aviation Safety Officer. Their military career includes roles as a Division Officer and Mission Commander for the E-2C Hawkeye, along with extensive safety program management at the Naval Safety Center. Abbott earned a Master's degree in Project Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide and a Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation from the State University of New York Maritime College.
