Caleb Young

Caleb Young is an experienced naval officer currently serving as Chief Nuclear Exercises and Training at USSTRATCOM and as Executive Officer for the USS MONTANA (SSN 794) with the US Navy since September 2023. Prior to this, Caleb was a student at the Naval Leadership & Ethics Center and served as the Prospective Executive Officer (PXO) for Submarine Squadron Eight. With a career in the US Navy beginning in 2000, Caleb has held various leadership roles including Combat Systems Director, Combat Systems Officer, and Tactics Instructor, overseeing personnel and training in complex naval systems. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
