Dickson Kirui

Dickson Kirui, PhD, is a Lead Research Scientist at the US Navy Medical Research Unit in San Antonio, Texas. With expertise in wound healing, nanomedicine, and oncology, they focus on developing innovative solutions for treating combat-related injuries and antimicrobial strategies against multi-drug resistant infections. Dickson has authored over 20 peer-reviewed articles and co-invented a patent, while successfully managing large-scale research projects and mentoring fellow scientists. They earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University, where they maintained a perfect GPA and mentored undergraduate students.
