Don Thompson

Don Thompson has extensive experience in engineering and project management, spanning over three decades. Initial experience included serving as a Captain in the United States Air Force, managing mobile air traffic control equipment. Thompson then worked as a Senior Project Management Engineer at Raytheon Systems Company, overseeing major international air traffic control projects and the installation of systems in New Delhi, India. Subsequent roles included Senior Electrical Engineer positions at multiple organizations such as the US Navy, URS Corporation, and NMS Communications, where responsibilities involved system design, coding, and telecommunications applications. At the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Thompson functions as Chief Engineer for Spectrum Technology Experimentation and Analysis. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
