Dutton Hughes has a diverse background in engineering and leadership, with experience ranging from mechanical engineering internships to roles in the U.S. Navy. Professional experience includes positions at Southern Hills Country Club as a Senior Caddy, multiple internships focused on mechanical engineering at companies like McElroy Manufacturing, Kansas City Deaerator, Southern Specialties, and Helmerich & Payne, where responsibilities included 3D modeling and on-site drilling operations. Dutton co-founded 4H Cattle Company, gaining expertise in ranch management and cattle trading. Academically, Dutton holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Kansas and attended The London School of Economics, supplemented by completion of Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command.
