Eric Abney

Naval Aviator - P-8A Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI), Instructor Pilot, and Mission Commander

Eric Abney is a United States Naval Aviator and P-8A Instructor Pilot, currently serving as a Weapons and Tactics Instructor and Mission Commander in the US Navy. Previously, they held a position as Tactics Department Head at the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Weapons School. Eric gained diverse experiences as a Congressional Intern for Representative Pete Olson and as a participant in the Hertog War Studies Program. They are an alumnus of Yale University, where they served as Battalion Commander in the Naval ROTC and actively participated in various organizations, including varsity baseball and the Mock Trial Association.
