Eugene Mok

Lieutenant Commander

Eugene Mok is the Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. They previously served as an Honors Attorney and Attorney-Advisor at the same department from 2019 to 2021. Eugene gained legal experience as a Volunteer Legal Intern at the Department of Justice and as a Next Generation National Security Fellow at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). Their early career included various roles in the U.S. Navy, including a Lieutenant Commander and Legal Officer, and they hold a Doctor of Law degree from American University Washington College of Law.
