Gary Chase

Gary Chase is a seasoned naval officer with extensive leadership experience, having served as Commanding Officer of multiple vessels, including USS VICKSBURG and USS NORMANDY, from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they lead Maine Maritime Academy NROTC, guiding aspiring Naval Officers from civilian life to military readiness. Gary previously held notable roles such as Commander in USS LABOON and Reactor Officer in USS NIMITZ, while also serving as a nuclear propulsion plant inspector. They earned a BS in Marine Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy and a MA in National Security Affairs focused on the Middle East from the Naval Postgraduate School.
