Gavin Duff

Gavin Duff currently serves as the Director of Plans Policy and Integration at the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, a position held since April 2024. With a distinguished career in the US Navy since May 1995, Gavin Duff has held various leadership roles including Commanding Officer of the USS Harry S Truman and USS Mesa Verde, as well as CVN ROC Senior Advisor at Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic. Additional experience includes serving as the US Central Command Desk Officer on the Joint Staff and Executive Officer of the USS George H. W. Bush. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University, participation in the Seminar XXI Fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BS in Naval Architecture from the United States Naval Academy. Training includes attendance at the United States Naval Test Pilot School and the Joint Forces Staff College.
