Jim Edwards

Jim Edwards is currently serving as NAVSEA 03 CTO at Naval Sea Systems Command since September 2022 and has been an Engineering Duty Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve since March 2017. Prior to this, Jim held the position of Technical Manager at the Office of Naval Research and Engineering Manager at NAVWAR, focusing on unmanned surface vehicle development, C4ISR research, and navigation systems. Additional experience includes responsibilities as a Robotics Engineer at WINTEC, where Jim worked on unmanned vehicles and ISR sensor development, alongside earlier roles as an Electronics Engineer. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering from the University of West Florida, a Master of Arts in National Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Pensacola Christian College.
