Jim Lyons

Jim Lyons served as the Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff for Current Readiness (N4SA) with the Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic, and has 29 years of experience in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Engineering Limited Duty Officer. Previously, they held various technical management roles, including as Electrical Chief Petty Officer, and excelled in marine engineering, maintenance, and repair of propulsion systems and auxiliary machinery. With significant experience in afloat maintenance and modernization programs, Jim developed and implemented processes that improved ship readiness and operational effectiveness. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an Associate's degree in Electrical Mechanical Technology.
