JoAnn Barnes

JoAnn Barnes is a mission-focused Staff Assistant with over 15 years of experience in executive-level roles and strong supervisory skills. Currently serving as the Assistant Officer in Charge in the U.S. Navy since 2011, JoAnn provides oversight for training and deployment support in various missions. Prior to this role, JoAnn worked as an Executive Assistant at an Insurance Broker from 1992 to 2009, where responsibilities included administrative support and liaising between departments. JoAnn also served as the Admin/Personnel Department Head in the U.S. Navy since 1986, managing personnel operations for over 900 individuals. JoAnn holds a diploma in Business from Frankford High School, earned in 1984.
