John Bernier

John Bernier is a highly experienced Naval Flight Officer and Navy Lieutenant Commander with a career in the US Navy beginning in May 2012. Bernier achieved designation as a Winged Naval Flight Officer in December 2013 and has served in various roles, including Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State from May 2023 to May 2024, focusing on policy advising for the Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations. In previous assignments, Bernier held the title of Chief of Operations Support at the Defense Special Missile and Aerospace Center (DEFSMAC), where leadership over 46 military and civilian personnel and development of training procedures were key accomplishments. As N1 Department Head at Cryptologic Warfare Activity SIXTY FIVE, Bernier established administrative protocols for personnel management. Additionally, Bernier served as P-3 Combat Aircrew Mission Commander with Patrol Squadron NINE, orchestrating missions across the Pacific and South America. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Villanova University.
