Sports Medicine Physician at The United States Navy

Kevin Bernstein, MD, MMS, currently serves as the Director for Public Health and Warfighter Optimization at Naval Health Clinic Annapolis, with responsibilities extending to multiple clinics in Maryland and New Jersey. As Chair of the Medical Executive Committee for the Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians, Kevin leads a significant organization of family medicine professionals. In addition, Kevin holds the position of President Elect at the United States Naval Academy and is a primary care sports medicine physician for Navy Athletics. With over a decade of experience in sports medicine, Kevin has fulfilled various roles within the US Navy, including Senior Medical Officer and Faculty at the Navy’s Family Medicine Residency Program. Academic contributions as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences highlight Kevin’s commitment to education in primary care and sports medicine. Kevin earned a Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine, following a Master's in Medical Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Premedicine from Penn State University.
