Lester Brown

Lester Brown, PMP, currently serves as a Senior Assessor for the TYCOM Material Inspection Team. With over 27 years of experience in the US Navy, Lester has held various significant roles, including Surface Warfare Officer and Navy Lessons Learned Engagement Officer at the Navy Warfare Development Command, where efforts were coordinated to enhance the use of Navy’s lessons learned resources. As Director of the Fleet Command Center for U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Lester directed naval responses to operations, ensuring continuous maritime domain awareness. Notably, as Commanding Officer and Executive Officer of USS McFAUL (DDG 74), Lester managed shipboard operations for over 300 personnel, overseeing critical budgeting and training. Academic credentials include an MBA from William & Mary, a Master's in Military Studies from the USMC Command and Staff College, and a Master's in International Relations from the University of San Diego, alongside a Bachelor's in Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
