Lew Callaway

Lew Callaway is currently the Strike Aircraft and Weapons Branch Head at the Director of Air Warfare (OPNAV N98) in the US Navy. Lew previously served as a Requirements Manager for both the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) and The Joint Staff from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Commanding Officer/Executive Officer for Electronic Attack Squadron One Three Nine (VAQ-139) from 2014 to 2016. Lew's naval career also includes roles as a Naval Aviator, with experience in flight training and in various carrier-based Electronic Attack squadrons. Lew earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy in 1998.
