Matthew Berta

Matthew Berta is a senior leader with extensive experience in the Navy, recently transitioning to Guidehouse as an Associate Director. They have successfully led complex organizations and high-performance teams, demonstrating expertise in strategic policy, program management, and crisis recovery. With a proven track record in decision-making and mentoring, they have served in various high-stakes roles, including the Chief of Staff at Military Sealift Command and Assistant CJCS for Navy Reserve Matters. Matthew holds multiple degrees, including an MBA and an MA in National Security & Strategic Studies, and is currently pursuing fellowships at Harvard Kennedy School and MIT.
