Matthew Doherty

Matthew Doherty is a Judge Advocate with extensive legal experience in military and educational settings. They served as a Summer Intern at The School District of Philadelphia and as a Special Trial Counsel in the US Navy in 2018. Previously, they worked as a Legal Extern for the United States Attorneys' Offices and a Summer Associate at Reed Smith LLP. Doherty holds a Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Program of Liberal Studies from the University of Notre Dame, where they also served as a Community Assistant and Philosophy Tutor. Currently, they are pursuing a diploma with distinction in the Naval Command and Staff Program at the U.S. Naval War College.
