Matthew Kuettel, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is a general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive, metabolic, and bariatric surgery, currently serving at the Defense Health Agency. From 2008 to 2024, they held various surgical roles in the US Navy, including Battalion Surgeon during deployment in Iraq and Director of Surgical Services at multiple facilities.
